The present investigation entitled “Study of genetic variability among some petunia hybrids at Chhattisgarh plains” was carried out during the year 2022-23 Horticultural Research cum Instructional farm, College Agriculture, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Raipur (C.G.). experiment laid in a Completely Randomized Design three replications using 10 genotypes, viz., Daddy, Eagle, Dreams, Success 360, Mirage, Supercascade, Tritunia Crimson Star, Double Duo, Pirouette Rose and Glorious. analysis variance revealed significant differences for all characters. studied these different genotypes. highest range as well GCV PCV found number flowers per plant. heritability ranged between 48.74 (plant spread 90 days) to 99.97 cent (number leaves 75 days). High (>60%) almost Genetic advance mean were be maximum days (26.66) leaf area (43.69) respectively. coupled with high gain also observed characters indicating that are most suitable selective breeding.
